Double Chocolate Chip Breakfast Cookies

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1½ cup whole wheat flour
  • ½ cup bran mixture of wheat and oat
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ½ tsp soda
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 cup chips, any flavor, use your favorite

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 F. 
  • Cream together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. 
  • Blend in remaining ingredients except chips.  Mix well and then add chips. 
  • Drop by large spoonful's about 2 inches apart onto a greased cookie sheet.  Bake for 10-12 minutes.
