Oatmeal Breakfast Cookies
Ingredients
- ¾ cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar packed
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3 tbsp molasses
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup bran mixture of wheat and oat
- ¾ tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 cup quick oatmeal
- 1-2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 F.
- Blend butter, sugar, egg, molasses, and milk. Add flour, bran, soda, and salt, and mix well. Blend in oats and chips.
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

These were my kids’ very favorite breakfast! All these breakfast cookies make a very tender cookie so have a napkin handy.
