Poached Eggs & Toast
Family favorite growing up!!
Equipment
- Several slices of bread
- Approx. 1 to 1½ c milk
- eggs
- salt & pepper
Instructions
- In a deep fry pan, lightly spray the bottom. Place on med. Heat.
- Pour milk into the pan and crack the desired amount of eggs into the pan. Milk doesn’t have to cover the eggs, but should come pretty close to the top of the egg. Place a lid on the pan.
- It doesn’t take too long and it will overflow if you are not watching it.
- Toast your bread. I don’t butter it.
- Serve poached egg over toast and put warm milk over egg and toast to soften the toast.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
