Orange Rolls

Ingredients

In a sauce pan combine:

  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp orange juice
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  • Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Using your favorite roll recipe roll it out into a circle that’s about ¼ inch thick.
  • Spread with soft butter and sprinkle granulated sugar over the top of that.
  • Cut into triangles and roll into crescent shapes.
  • Bake as directed.
  • Pour the sauce over the rolls right as they come from the oven.

Notes

My mother-in-law, Sandy Hansen, makes these for Christmas for neighbor gifts. They are GOOD! Just use your favorite roll recipe (I recommend Aunt Janene’s bread recipe…I use it for EVERYTHING…bread, cinnamon rolls, these orange rolls, dinner rolls…whatever)
