Soft English Toffee

Ingredients

  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 cups flour
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • 1 pkg chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients.  Press into a greased jelly roll pan.  Bake at 350º for 15-20 min. Top with chocolate chips (while hot, so they melt) & ground almonds.
