Barbecued Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ – 1 cup water depending on ketchup thickness
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ med onion chopped
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes. 
  • Use chicken breasts or tenders and dip each piece of chicken into sauce.  Layer each piece in a pan.(only one layer so they will cook evenly) 
  • Pour remaining sauce over chicken.  Cover with foil and bake at 350 for at least one hour.  Keep in warm oven until time to serve.
