Apple Cake

- 4 cups apples grated and do not need to peel
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup oil
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp soda
Sauce:
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup cream
- ½ cup butter
- 1 Tbsp vanilla
Mix apples, sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.
In separate bowl, sift flour, cinnamon, soda and salt.
Pour dry ingredients over wet and mix.
Pour into greased 9×13 cake pan
Bake at 325° for 40 min.
Sauce for Apple Cake:
Combine all ingredients for the sauce, except vanilla, into a saucepan and cook over low heat until sugar is dissolved into a light sauce.
Remove from heat and add vanilla.
