Chocolate Eclair Cake

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter
  • 3 cups milk
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 lg. pkg instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup flour
  • 12 oz. cool whip
  • 4 eggs
  • Hershey chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • Bring butter, salt and water to a boil in medium saucepan.
  • Add flour and stir about 1 minute
  • Take off of heat.
  • Stir in eggs, one at a time.
  • Spread onto lightly greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
  • Poke with a fork at 10 minutes.
  • Mix pudding with milk
  • Whip softened cream cheese and then add to pudding
  • Spread over cooled cake.
  • Drizzle with chocolate syrup and refrigerate
