Kathie Hansen’s Favorite Green Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 heads romaine lettuce
  • 2-3 cut up mangos
  • ½ cup feta cheese
  • 5 avocados diced
  • 1 whole cooked chicken deboned

Candied Nuts:

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1-2 cups favorite nut (almonds, pecans, walnuts)

Dressing:

  • 1 bottle Lite-house Blue cheese vinaigrette or favorite one

Instructions

Candied Nuts:

  • Place sugar in fry pan on high heat until it starts to melt, turn down to medium.
  • Add nuts. Mix well
  • Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and pour nuts evenly onto the sheet.
  • Allow nuts to harden, then break into pieces.

Salad:

  • Break lettuce into bite-sized pieces, place into bowl.
  • Add mangos, feta cheese, avocados & chicken
  • Top with candied nuts and use your favorite vinaigrette.
