Buttermilk Syrup II

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • cups white sugar
  • ½ cup butter
  • 2 Tbsp corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Instructions

  • Combine buttermilk, sugar, butter, corn syrup in large pot
  • Bring ingredients to a boil, reduce heat to low. Cook for about 8-9 minutes.
  • Once it's a golden brown color, add vanilla and then the soda.
  • serve hot
