Ibarra Family Sausage Gravy for Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • cups non-dairy creamer
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 cube butter

Instructions

  • Cook sausage in a frying pan.  Drain fat.
  • Boil 3 c water and melt the butter in hot water.
  • While butter is melting, mix 1 c cold water, creamer, flour, salt, pepper.
  • Gradually add flour mixture slowly to boiling water and keep stirring it to keep from scorching.
  • Remove from heat and add sausage.
