G’pa Lybbert’s Bacon Wrapped Smokies

- 1 lb thin sliced bacon
- 1 lb beef lil' smokies
- ½ cup butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
Preheat oven to 375
Cut bacon into thirds and wrap each smokie
Place all wrapped smokies in a 9×13 baking dish that has been coated with a non-stick spray
Melt butter and add 1 cup brown sugar. Stir
Pour butter brown sugar mixture over smokies
Take additional cup of brown sugar and sprinkle evenly over smokies
Bake about 15-20 min.
Turn het up to 400 for about 5 min. or longer until bacon becomes crispy
