Balsamic Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • ¼-⅓ onion, diced
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp chicken bouillon
  • 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese grated

Instructions

  • Carmelize onion in olive oil.
  • Remove from heat, drain oil,
  • add chicken bouillon and balsamic vinegar. Use as a rue.
  • Gradually add heavy whipping cream, keeping the sauce at a simmer, stirring constantly.
  • Gradually add grated parmesan
  • Goes well with ravioli (e.g. butternut squash), broccoli, and other lightly/unseasoned veggies.
