Quick Barbecue Sauce

- 1 large onion, chopped
- ¼ cup cooking oil
- 1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
- ½ cup water omit for thicker sauce
- ¼ cup lemon juice bottled
- ¼ cup brown sugar packed
- 3 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp prepared mustard
- 2 tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Cook onion in cooking oil until onions are soft.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 min.
This is great on burgers, steak.
For chicken: fry chicken parts in covered casserole dish about 15 min.
pour sauce over chicken and cover,
cook over low heat or simmer 30 min. or so
